Summary: This hotel is not a resort feel but convenient. A short drive from the airport but as you arrive don’t be alarmed by the rugged terrain entering the property it’s rough but it only lasts for a minute. I arrived early so I couldn’t check in but the restaurant was open and the view from the outside bar and patio was nice. You’re right on the water- no beach access- They have a gym in a different building but it’s well equipped- The food is average and overpriced. The room was small, very clean and tidy but I struggled with gnats. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. After my workout I missed breakfast by about 20 minutes and figured I’d hang out at the outside bar until lunch and Portfilio came over to check on me and made arrangements for me to have lunch early- Don’t lose or forget to turn in your room key there’s a fee to replace it- the room comes with water but I called to replenish and was told there’s a fee- let them replenish when they clean- If you encounter Freddy you are in good hands- Fiona or Felona not so much- she never smiles and not friendly at all- avoid. Be prepared to pay $30 for the shuttle back to the airport- they charge everyone in the shuttle- ridiculous! Please be sure to make them aware of your flight time and which airport- only one shuttle available I had to cross my fingers hoping I would make my flight time with the shuttle going to different airports The staff- is wonderful! Amenities nah- probably won’t be back.
