Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Diomar Villa in Agia, Crete, with two adults and three kids. The villa was absolutely great and had everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The villa has two bedrooms, plus a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room, which worked perfectly for us. The design is beautiful, stylish and very well thought out. We loved the whole setup, but the highlight for us was definitely the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. It was such a great space to spend time together in the evenings. The pool is also just the right size - not too big and not too small, and perfect for the kids. The agency prepared the villa amazingly well for our arrival. We were welcomed with milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine, olive oil, pasta, vegetables and a lovely selection of fresh fruit. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made us feel welcome. We honestly could not have asked for more. The air conditioning was also very important for us, especially with the kids, and it was well maintained and worked perfectly throughout our stay. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for families looking for a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Crete!
Negative: The only thing I would suggest improving is providing a second set of keys. We contacted the agency about this, but unfortunately received a rather vague answer and never heard back. That said, this was a very minor issue and was easily outweighed by the excellent location, beautiful facilities and warm welcome.
